ADAPTATION TO NEW LENSES

You're on your way with new lenses – even if you've worn them before there are a few important things to understand.

Firstly it's often more difficult for an existing wearer to adapt to new lenses than the first timer.

During adaptation all we ask of our 'PATIENTS' is that they have a little 'PATIENCE'!

Don't expect the Earth to start with – adaptation is not always predictable and, especially with some complex lenses, may take a little time.

We've completed the initial task of selecting the first choice lens design and fit and now we can only wait to see how these settle with your eyes and tears.

Even as Specialists fitting hundreds of different lens designs we will never know which will ultimately prove the best for you without going through this evaluation period. One thing we certainly do know is that, unlike ordinary Opticians who usually only fit a few different 'brands' and normally don't use custom handmade designs, we can virtually guarantee to be able to find a material and fitting suitable for even the most difficult patient.

We'll see you next for your first check but even before this if you have any queries or worries don’t hesitate to pick up the phone or pop in – we really are here to look after you all the way.
