Google has developed a ‘smart’ device to be fitted within the matrix of a Soft Contact Lens which monitors the glucose levels in diabetics.

It may even include a flashing LED as a warning signal!

Needless to say, as top specialists in custom lenses, the CLP has registered an interest in this research with Google & the Diabetic Association.
